"Good Leather" 21 x 27 ............IT ALL BEGAN when a handsome, powerful paint horse stepped out of a
trailer into a cold and snowy day in Flagstaff, Arizona. His name was
"Neon Cowboy" and with him a journey began that included a Paint Horse
Show Reserve World Championship and Julie Hardman rekindling her
artistic endeavors to capture the close-up views of cowboy and western
life. as the "Neon Cowgirl". Her love of suede, denim, old leathers,
chaps and fringes are evident in her most recent works. Hardman, an
accomplished equestrian, combines her love of two worlds to present an
intimate view of western life while leaving the viewers to fill in the
rest of the story for themselves.......who do the red boots belong
to?........where have those weathered hands been?.....where did the
kind eye of that chestnut horse come from?
